If a short occurs, the ferroresonant transformer will foldback, limited @150% of the output rating, thereby preventing the transformer from being damaged.

If an overload occurs, the output voltage will shut down to prevent the transformer from being damaged. This enables technicians enough time to inspect the trouble.

Possesses auto reset function when short or overload. Saving technicians from traveling long distances to reset the circuit breaker.

Optional delay circuit is used to protect the power supply from any input surges and minimize the potential impact of a power failure. When the power supply is turned on, the time delay will hold the output off line for approximately 15 seconds. In the event of a power failure, this device prevents any damages to the power supply when there are input surges from the cable line when the power company turns-on.
